Stan Utley is best known as a short game master, and rightfully so. Often called the Short Game Guru, Stan has become an icon as an instructor in all aspects of the short game, particularly putting. Stan Utley played professional golf before applying his gift in instruction. He is a past champion on the PGA Tour, having won the 1989 Chattanooga Classic, and also had three victories on the Nike Tour (now the Nationwide Tour). During his playing days on the PGA Tour, Utley often helped other players with their short game routine. Once he came off of the tour, Utley turned his knack for instructing other players into his full-time job. He began teaching professionally at the Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2000.
