The toe down pitch shot comes in very handy in this day and age of super fast greens. Doesn’t it seems like every single time you miss the green by five to ten feet or so, you are faced with an almost impossible shot? The pitch shot with the toe down will come out super soft and stop like you have never seen before.
1) Set the club down on its toe (the heel is off the ground slightly)
2) The clubshaft is perpendicular to the ground
3) Use your putting grip with the ball in the middle of your stance
4) Make your normal putting motion, with no wrists, allowing the club to go down and through the ball during impact
Note: You can open the blade, close the blade, and use it in all lies for different results
